Arlows Alu-Kevlar heat protection hose with Velcro
Opens lengthwise. Velcro closure. Reflects radiant heat. Sold by the metre for lines in the engine bay.
One running metre of aluminium-coated heat protection hose. The hose opens along its length and closes with the sewn-in Velcro. Connectors and fittings stay in place. Inside diameter is selected in the variant (about ± 5 mm play because of the closure).
Why this hose?
VELCRO CLOSURE
Opens lengthwise. Wrap around already installed lines and close without removing connectors or fittings.
ALU-KEVLAR
Inside high-temperature Kevlar fabric. Outside aluminium coating that reflects radiant heat.
TEMPERATURE
Continuous use up to 300 °C. Short-term up to 1000 °C (fabric and coating, not the Velcro).
FLEXIBLE
Sold by the metre. Quantity 2 means 2 metres. Secure with stainless steel ties if needed.

Not a replacement for insulating pressure-carrying exhaust pipes and not a heat wrap for the manifold. Do not place the Velcro directly on the manifold or downpipe.

Fitment
Open the hose, wrap it around the component to be protected, close the Velcro, overlap slightly if needed. Do not position the Velcro directly on hot parts such as the manifold or downpipe. Secure additionally with stainless steel ties if the hose can slide.
