Arlows Titanium Heat Protection Tape Black
This article is about our new black version of the Titan Band !
The new titanium technology makes this heat protection tape heat resistant up to ~1400°C. Even after several thousand kilometers this heat protection tape can still be unwound without any problems.
The tape has a thickness of approx. 2mm and can therefore be wound optimally!
It is a very high quality titanium heat protection tape which is perfectly suited to wrap your manifold, Y-pipe or exhaust system.
For a 4 cylinder manifold ~ 15 meters of this tape are needed to wrap it completely.
We recommend our V2A cable ties for fastening the heat protection tape.
Advantages in operation
- Response behaviour of the turbocharger is improved as more heat is supplied to the turbocharger. - Engine compartment temperature is extremely reduced.
- All components/units/cable harnesses in the immediate vicinity are protected from the heat.
- Manifolds/ Y-pipes do not tend to crack so quickly as they cool more slowly and internal stresses are minimized.
Attention:
All heat protection tapes tend to smoke when first put into operation.
This behaviour disappears after a few minutes.
