This adapter joins the specified Dash/AN sizes to help you build a coordinated line layout. Compare each connection and thread configuration with your existing fittings before choosing the part. This version: Thread 1: Dash 4 ( 7/16 - 20 UNF ). Thread 2: Dash 6 ( 9/16 - 18 UNF ).

Applications
For transitions between different AN connections in custom line assemblies. In oil or fuel systems, every component must be approved for the fluid, operating pressure, temperature and sealing arrangement.
Installation & notes
Clean and inspect the threads and sealing faces. AN/Dash flare fittings seal on the matching conical face; do not use thread tape on that connection. Use suitable tools to hold the mating part, route lines without strain and check the completed assembly for leaks. Follow the component manufacturer?s tightening instructions.

The AN size, male or female thread and sealing face must match the mating component on each side. Matching thread dimensions alone do not establish sealing compatibility.
