This adapter joins an O-ring boss port to an AN connection. The included sealing ring provides the seal on the ORB side. This version: Connection 1: ORB 10. Connection 2: Dash 10.

Applications
For compatible ORB ports on appropriately designed line-system components. Fit requires matching threads, suitable engagement depth and an O-ring material compatible with the application.
Installation & notes
Inspect the O-ring and port sealing surface. Lubricate the O-ring with a compatible assembly lubricant and install without twisting or trapping it. ORB seals at the O-ring; thread tape is not a substitute. Check engagement length, tighten to the manufacturer?s instructions and inspect for leaks. Clean and inspect the threads and sealing faces. AN/Dash flare fittings seal on the matching conical face; do not use thread tape on that connection. Use suitable tools to hold the mating part, route lines without strain and check the completed assembly for leaks. Follow the component manufacturer?s tightening instructions.

Why is a matching thread size not enough?
ORB and AN flare connections use different sealing geometries. The ORB side requires a port designed for an O-ring seal.
