VW / AUDI connecting rod set
Suitable for VW / Audi engines with chain drive with the code EA888 2.0TSI.
These are very high-quality steel connecting rods.
They are forged/milled from 4340 steel (40CrNiMoA).
The H-profile ensures maximum stability at low weight.
This is particularly suitable for high-speed engines.
After numerous hardening processes, our connecting rods achieve a hardness of HRC35-38.
Finally, the connecting rods are shot-peened to further increase the surface Density.
Our connecting rods are 3D designed and then CNC milled.
This allows load conditions/stresses to be simulated and the connecting rods to be designed
so that they have maximum rigidity with minimum weight.
During production, all dimensional tolerances are adhered to very precisely and checked several times.
The piston pin bearing is made of bronze and has a bore for lubricating the piston pin.
To prevent mix-ups during disassembly, all connecting rods and bearing blocks are marked to each other.

Piston pin bore: +-4/1000mm
KuWe journal bore: +-4/1000mm
Verticality, parallelism, and distortion: +-5/1000mm
