Arlows Titanium Heat Wrap ? 4.5 m × 50 mm

Not the cheap glass-fibre roll from a DIY store.
Arlows titanium heat wrap is rated around 1400 °C, about 2 mm thick, and still unwinds after thousands of kilometres ? instead of going hard and brittle like many no-name rolls. 4.5 m × 50 mm: the starter roll for sections, short pipes, wastegate tubes or repairs.

Why titanium instead of ceramic or glass fibre?

Built for manifolds, downpipes and the turbo area. Cheap glass wrap often sits at 500?700 °C ? and chars where it matters.

2 MM THICK

More mass between exhaust and bay than thin discount tape. Less radiation on wiring, hoses and intake.

STAYS FLEXIBLE

Still unwindable after long use. Many cheap wraps bake on and can only be torn off.

TURBO + PARTS

Heat stays in the exhaust stream ? the turbo responds better. Neighbour parts take less load, the manifold cools more slowly (less crack risk).

Fitment

Wrap tight with overlap. Secure with V2A stainless cable ties ? nylon ties melt on a manifold. Keep the overlap, lock the ends, fold the tie tails so they cannot cut a hose.

Note: Every heat wrap smokes on first heat-up. It stops after a few minutes. First run in a well-ventilated area / outdoors. Not intended for public-road use where it changes the vehicle?s legal status.
