Arlows Ceramic heat protection tape white

High insulation performance with maximum heat resistance. Ceramic particles withstand around 1200 °C.
High-quality Ceramic heat protection tape in white for wrapping manifolds, bifurcated pipes, downpipes and exhaust systems. Length and width are selected in the variant. Approx. 2 mm thick ? more mass between the pipe and neighbouring parts than thin decorative tape.

Why Ceramic White?

Ceramic particles in the fabric insulate the exhaust pipe. Cheap glass fibre tape often handles significantly less and chars where it matters.

APPROX. 2 MM THICK

More mass between the pipe and neighbouring parts. Less radiation onto cables, hoses and the engine bay.

TURBO + PROTECTION

Heat stays in the exhaust stream ? the turbo responds better. At the same time the load on neighbouring components decreases and the manifold cools more slowly (less risk of cracking).

WHITE

Classic look. High-quality ceramic for sections, repairs or complete manifolds.

Guideline: A complete 4-cylinder header manifold typically needs approx. 15 metres. Choose the appropriate roll length accordingly.

Fitment

Clean and degrease the pipes beforehand. Wrap the tape tightly and with overlap. Secure with V2A stainless steel cable ties ? plastic ties melt on the manifold. Maintain the overlap, secure the ends.

Note: Every heat protection tape smokes briefly on first heat-up. This settles after a few minutes. Only run in a well-ventilated area / outdoors. Not intended for the StVZO area if the vehicle is modified thereby.
