Suitable for all VW VR6 engines
These are very high-quality steel connecting rods.
This is the short version of our VR6 connecting rod with 161mm. This makes it possible to reduce compression without having to drive an annoying intermediate plate during a turbo conversion. This often causes problems in the head gasket area. The compression is reduced to about 8.5:1 with these connecting rods.
These are forged / milled from 4340 steel (40CrNiMoA).
The H-profile provides maximum stability at low weight.
This is particularly suitable for high speed engines.
Thanks to the forged chrome-nickel steel, our I-connecting rods are much more resilient than the series-connecting rods.
After numerous hardening processes, our connecting rods achieve a hardness of HRC35-38.
Finally, the connecting rods were shot-peened to further increase the surface density.
Our connecting rods are 3D designed and CNC milled.
Thus load conditions / stresses can be simulated and the connecting rods can be designed in such a way,
that you have the maximum stiffness at the lowest weight.
During production, all dimensional tolerances are adhered to very precisely and checked several times.
The piston pin bearing is made of bronze and has a bore for lubricating the piston pin.
All connecting rods + bearing blocks are marked to each other to prevent confusion during disassembly.
