For custom exhausts and measurement ports using a compatible oxygen sensor. Thread, sensor reach and measurement position must match the system.
Choose the location according to the sensor manufacturer?s instructions. Check material compatibility, prepare the hole and locate the shoulder. Weld with the sensor removed, allow to cool, clean the thread and install the sensor to its specified torque.
Thread size is only one criterion. Sensor reach, sealing face, measuring position and clearance for the sensor and wiring must also match.
