Arlows Adapter 1/4" to Dash 6 ( Screw-in adapter )
Connect an inch-size port to an AN line.
This screw-in adapter connects the stated inch-size port to an AN fitting. Selecting the correct part requires the thread standard and sealing geometry as well as the nominal size. This version: Thread 1: 1/4". Thread 2: Dash 6 ( 9/16 - 18 UNF ).

Installation & notes
First confirm the thread standard and sealing geometry of the inch-size side. Use approved NPT thread sealant only if NPT is confirmed. For other thread types, use their specified sealing arrangement. Clean and inspect the threads and sealing faces. AN/Dash flare fittings seal on the matching conical face; do not use thread tape on that connection. Use suitable tools to hold the mating part, route lines without strain and check the completed assembly for leaks. Follow the component manufacturer?s tightening instructions.
Common question
Does an inch size automatically mean NPT?
No. A nominal size such as 1/8 inch does not identify the thread standard. NPT, BSP and other threads must not be combined based on nominal size alone.
