Arlows gearbox support VAG VR6 02M / 02Q
Suitable for all VAG transmissions with the code letters:
- 02M
- 02Q
Especially with VR6 turbo conversions with more than 450HP it often happens that the standard gearboxes (or the 4th gear) with the code letters 02M/02Q get damaged by the power. There is a danger that at high torque the input shaft starts to vibrate and this pushes the shaft away from the opposite shafts and therefore the gear pair of the 4th gear does not mesh properly and the 4th gear finally breaks off.
The gear support consists of a brass mandrel and an aluminum housing. The brass mandrel is pressed against the shaft by means of a screw and the preload is thus fully adjustable.
